Another interesting scenario for which I cant find many answers on SDN. How to track cost savings in standard SAP?
Example: A company buys a material for $10 ea. General market price is $11 so its a saving of $1 per item.
Every time a user places an order for material and that material arrives in the company, Purchasing department wants to capture total savings achieved off it.
Has anyone ever implemented anything similar? is there any best practice for it? Does standard SAP offers any functionality....
Would be great if you share any experience
