Can you let me know what EHP level ur in?? You can achieve this in latest HCM Processes & Forms where we can change the OM data too. where for that we need to follow the below steps

• Firstly we need to create a form scenario in R/3 using SAP_PD.
• Define the object type and operation of the leading object.
• Define the form scenario fields and operations.
• Create the process without workflow template & form, while using the form scenario you have created. Create and define the form.
• Create and define the workflow template (using tasks specific for OM processes).
